Q: What methods of payment are accepted? A. Cheque, money order, Visa, MasterCard,
debit and cash are accepted.
Q: What are the ticket prices? A: 1 ticket for $25, 3 tickets for
$60, 10 tickets for $100 or 25 tickets for $200. Note: Sets of 25 Tickets are SOLD OUT.
Q: What is “Tag”? A: Tag is an extra chance to win the
Furniture and Appliances with the Dream Cottage. At time of purchase only, the TAG option must be purchased. If the
winner takes Cash instead of the Cottage, the Ticket with TAG receives $50,000 and if no Tag, the Cash prize is $45,000.
Q: What is the price of “Tag”? A: Tag prices are: $5 on a Single Ticket; $10 on
a Set of 3; $20 on a set of 10 tickets; $25 on a set of 25 tickets.
Q: How many tickets are
available in total? A: There are 26,000 tickets printed.
Q: What are the Early Bird Prizes? A: Mothers’s Day Draw: 2010 Hyundai Accent OR $10,000 Cash to be drawn May 9,2010
Father’s Day Draw: 2010 Harley Davidson Sportser to be drawn on June 20,2010
The winning ticket for each Early Bird Draw will be returned to the drum for the Grand Prize
draw.
Q: What is the Grand Prize? A: Grand Prize is a 2 bedroom, modular
Dream Cottage built for year-round living; 26' x 36' the Cottage is ready to move to your ideal location. The
winner may take Cash in lieu of Cottage. Decision to be made by winner, within 7 days of the draw, to accept
a Cash Prize of $50,000 (if ticket tagged) or $45,000 (if ticket not tagged).
Q: When is the Dream Cottage
draw? A: Dream Cottage #18 will be drawn for on July 30, 2010.
Q: How long will it take to receive my
ticket in the mail? A: Tickets will be mailed out 7 days from receipt of order.
Q: Is the ticket
price tax deductible / do you get a tax receipt? A: The ticket is not tax deductible & no tax receipt
is issued as per Canadian Revenue Agency Rules & Regulations.
Q: How many names can be put on a ticket? A: One name only per ticket, on Singles and Bundles of 3 tickets. Bundles of 10 and
25 tickets: one name only --- same name on all tickets.
Q: Where do proceeds from the Dream Cottage go? A: Proceeds from our Dream Cottage support the mentoring programs of Miramichi Big Brothers Big Sisters including the
recruitment, screening and matching of children and adult volunteers, as well as the After-School, Evening and Day Camp
Programs of the Boys & Girls Club.
Q:
How long do I have to move the cottage should I decide to take it? A: The Dream Cottage must be moved from the display site by Aug 31/10. All costs related to moving are the responsibility of the winner.
Q: What is the Bonus Draw for
online orders? A: Buy tickets online and get a Bonus chance to win a $1000 Gas Certificate.
Q: How and when will the winners names be available? A: The winners list will be published in the Miramichi Leader and on the Dream Cottage Website.
Q: Can Tickets be put in the name of a
business or corporation? A: Yes. An individual's name must also
be on the ticket as the contact for the business.
Q: How will the Draw be conducted? A: The draw will be conducted
in the following manner: Draw will be open to the public, and two members of the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters/Boys &
Girls Club will be present to witness. The draw will be taped, and tickets drawn from a transparent draw barrel. Tickets
will be drawn manually by an individual who does not have a ticket in the draw, in a random manner. Only the person making
the draw will put their arm into the draw barrel, and will have no clothing on their arm, below their elbow. The winning ticket(s) will
be displayed to the witnesses for inspection immediately after they are drawn from the barrel.

- Tickets for Dream Cottage Lottery are sold only in New Brunswick.
- As defined by the laws of
the Municipality, Province and Government of Canada.
Must be 18 years of age to purchase a ticket - Grand prize
draw: July 30, 2010
- Grand Prize is a 2 bedroom, modular Dream Cottage.
The winner may take Cash
in lieu of Cottage Decision to be made by winner within 7 days of the Draw to accept a Cash Prize of $50,000 (if
ticket tagged) or $45,000(if ticket not tagged). - Total retail value of all prizes is: $110,000
The Dream Cottage
must be moved from the Display Site by Aug 31/10. All costs related to moving are the responsibility of the winner. - Members
of the Board of Directors and paid staff of Miramichi Big Brothers Big Sisters / Boys & Girls Club are not permitted to
purchase Dream Cottage Lottery tickets.
- If the winner has not been located within 365 days of the draw, after publicly
advertising this fact, the Agency will write to the NB Gaming Commission requesting permission to allocate said prizes for
use by Miramichi Big Brothers Big Sisters/Boys & Girls Club.
